About Me

Welcome to my site! I'm Blake Crosby - photographer, adventurer, and sea kayak guide in the San Juan Islands.

I was born and raised in the lowcountry of SC and have had a love of photography all my life. I've recently become more serious with the purchase of my SLR, a Pentax K20d. My photography is always a work in progress and I find it exciting that there is so much to learn.

I have a passion for the outdoors and strive to seek adventure and explore new horizons. Traveling and experiencing new destinations is thrilling and being able to capture those memories with photos is so rewarding. Since I am an avid kayaker I take a lot of photos from my kayak. I feel that this gives me a unique perspective and the ability to capture images that would have otherwise been impossible.
